Jeff Husserl, Centrum’s Founder and Managing Principal, has thirty years of business experience as a consultant, Human Resources executive, and mediator. In addition to coaching leaders and helping teams coalesce, Jeff also provides private mediation services to help parties resolve employment and workplace conflict, family business discord, and quarrels that arise in personal relationships. He also serves as a mediator for the Los Angeles Office of the EEOC and on the mediation panel for the San Diego Superior Court Civil Mediation Program. In 2018, he was named the 2018 Pro Bono Mediator of the Year for the Los Angeles District office of the EEOC.
Prior to Centrum, Jeff founded and managed several consulting practices emphasizing leadership, team performance and conflict management. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he was Executive Vice President of Administration and Chief Human Resources Officer with MB Financial Bank, an $8.2B publicly-traded full service bank where he was responsible for Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Compliance and Property Management.
Jeff received a BA in English from Georgetown University, his MBA in Marketing and Human Resources Management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a master’s degree in Dispute Resolution from The Straus Institute at the Pepperdine University School of Law. Additionally, he completed a 40-hour certification in Performance-Based Mediation Skills from the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago.
